It’s 2012.
2012 is going to be a landmark year for ASP. Not just because ASP turns 15 this year but because ASP will be changing. Don’t worry we will still be providing great websites and support for exhibitions but because we are breaking out from the 3 year plateau caused by the global meltdown out of choice.
Yes – ASP is expanding, everywhere and everyway: in people, turnover, geographically, relationships and in product range. We are investing hard (we retain profits and use that, no need for pesky bank loans or VC’s) with our cash and are upgrading our hosting suite, hiring a bunch of people, building international relationships with other tech suppliers and finally expanding our product range to cover other industries in different ways we work with clients at the moment.
The way I am thinking is that ASP has completed stage 1, we have a very strong team, a great product - SHOWOFF and also a great reputation for being honest and supportive of the events industry. In other words we have built a foundation, now it’s time to build up from there.
Expect a lot of announcements from ASP this year. We have already launched ASP Design and are partnered with Mark Brewster to build and support the latest revolution in the research industry – Explori – check it out.
Over the next few months we will announce our hosting upgrade (did you know that we run 25 web servers?) , launching a new product (sorry, no clues released yet to what it is!), a new collaboration of companies and a plethora of new members of ASP in all departments of developers, design and account managers and even some sales staff!!
Yep, we will be busy, but we like buzz and we like new! Oh and personally I am finishing my undergraduate degree in Physics (nearly 20 years later) which I left uncompleted after 2 years to go into business.
To 2012.
