ASP, the exhibition and conference website provider, has extended their de facto product SHOWOFF with a new Communities module.
Communities has been written to both improve on ASP’s existing modules such as appointment setting and private areas plus also creates a platform for everyone to communicate, discuss and request products before and after the show.
Some of the key functions of the product are
-
Data gathering of non registees
-
Data capture of exhibiting personnel
-
Wish lists/Favourites function for visitor show planning
-
Messaging centre
-
An online Calendar function
-
Self or team managed appointment setting
-
Protected web content according to status
ASP’s CEO Arran Coole says “ASP has been doing appointment setting since 1998, since then we have improved that system many times. However for the first time we have built the foundation for a true social media platform aimed at events and specifically adding value for visitors and exhibitors all year round. By combining the power of content and people we have something really special and already we are working on the next update which will be a paradigm shift for organisers. “
Communities has already been used on 3 events and is now being rolled out across a lot more shows including the Event and Exhibiting Showheld at the Business Design Centre during the 15-16th July 2010.
