ASP has been creating database driven event websites since 1997. We are known for innovation in our field. Do you know for example we were the first with log-in "exhibitor zones" for exhibitors to upload content in 1998? Or that we have enabled shows with appointment settings services since 1998 too?
ASP created web 2.0 and social media tools before those terms existed - for example the Meet at the Bar function which enabled visitor to visitor chat way back in 2000. This section though is about the underlying technology that runs the websites and servers - the foundation of our innovation.
When it comes to websites you click on a link and you expect the page to be there. What you don't need to worry about is all the processes that got that data there and reconstructed it on your particular device, operating system and browser.
In this section we not only talk about the product SHOWOFFTM but we also take a look into the 'plumbing' behind websites that ensures your data is secure, safe and available.
Technology is like plumbing. When you turn the tap on you expect water to appear. However, think about all the processes that got clean water to you. The sun evaporates water, the water forms clouds and the clouds produce rain. The rain is captured in a reservoir, treated to remove all bad impurities and then pumped up so that gravity can feed the water to your house. Whilst this is happening there is a large amount of testing going on to detect infection of the water and robots are used to scan the inside of pipes and if needed fix them. Of course, once you've finished with the water it must be drained and in some cities (like London) it's filtered and treated to be re-used.
We'll be attending & sponsoring ECEF &
